About The Vital Voice Chorus

The Vital Voice Chorus is a vocal ensemble of Way Past Midnight Music. This chorus sings contemporary music and performs at special events, parties, and festivals with the band. 

The members in The Vital Voice Chorus endeavor to perform locally and tour musically in cities within the USA such as Boston, MA, Nashville, TN, New Orleans, LA, San Antonio, TX, Las Vegas, NV. Also, with passports in hand having a chance to visit other countries.

The Vital Voice Chorus members participate in fundraising and networking events.

They also receive expert vocal training from Melody who has a Vocal Mastery Academy(™) Teacher Certification. 

New members should be able to sing on pitch, have a sense of adventure and seek to live life to the fullest. Our singers experience the uplifting and healing power of music through singing and delight in making a difference for others in the audience.

Members of the chorus pay annual dues of $200 which covers basic expenses including but not limited to sheet music and materials. We rehearse in Freehold, NJ about twice a month, usually on weekends. 

Rehearsals typically are more frequent before a scheduled performance. Our members' schedules are taken into consideration whenever possible. We have developed creative strategies to ensure that everyone feels prepared for The Vital Voice Chorus` quality performances.

The Vital Voice Chorus performed for the Veterans Day celebration at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ in November 2023.

"The Happening" took place on Thursday, July 25, 2024.  It was a dinner and a show at a local restaurant in Matawan, NJ and The Vital Voice Chorus was featured performing along with Way Past Midnight. We had a packed room full of friendship, singing, and joy!

Our 2024-2025 season begins September 2024.
